Monthly Scentsy Business Planning Template
# Monthly Scentsy Business Planning Template
The difference between Consultants who grow and Consultants who plateau isn't talent or luck — it's planning. Spending 30 minutes at the start of each month to set intentions and create a simple plan will transform your business. Here's the template.
Section 1: Monthly Goals
Set 3-5 specific, measurable goals. Not "sell more" — actual numbers.
Examples:
- [ ] Generate $X in personal retail volume (PRV)
- [ ] Add X new customers
- [ ] Host X parties (virtual or in-person)
- [ ] Enroll X new Scentsy Club members
- [ ] Recruit X new team members (if team building)
- [ ] Post content X days this month
Tip: Base goals on last month's actuals plus 10-20%. Stretch, don't shatter.
Section 2: Calendar Highlights
Map the month's key dates:
- **Scentsy promotions** — BOGO, flash sales, new releases
- **Holidays/occasions** — Mother's Day, Memorial Day, back-to-school, etc.
- **Personal schedule** — vacations, busy work weeks, family events
- **Planned parties** — dates, hosts, themes
- **Content deadlines** — when to post, what to promote
Having this visual prevents last-minute scrambling and missed opportunities.
Section 3: Content Plan
Plan your social media content for the month. You don't need to write everything in advance — just know the topics.
Week 1: New month kickoff, feature a bestseller, share a personal story about Scentsy
Week 2: Educational content (how-to, comparison, tips), customer spotlight
Week 3: Seasonal/holiday tie-in, behind-the-scenes of your Scentsy life
Week 4: Month-end push, promotion reminder, preview next month
Daily rhythm:
- Monday: Product feature
- Tuesday: Tip or educational post
- Wednesday: Personal/lifestyle content
- Thursday: Customer review or testimonial
- Friday: Weekend recommendation or deal highlight
- Saturday: Fun/interactive (poll, quiz, "this or that")
- Sunday: Rest or light engagement
Section 4: Customer Follow-Up List
Write down 10-15 customers to personally reach out to this month:
| Customer | Last Order | What They Bought | Follow-Up Action |
|----------|-----------|-------------------|-----------------|
| Jane D. | 2 months ago | Washer Whiffs | Reorder reminder |
| Mike S. | 4 months ago | Full-size warmer | New wax recommendation |
| Sarah L. | New lead | Nothing yet | Send sample |
Aim for 3-4 personal outreach messages per week. That's it. Quality over quantity.
Section 5: Financial Tracking
Know your numbers:
- **Total sales this month:** $____
- **Commission earned:** $____
- **Expenses (samples, supplies, shipping):** $____
- **Net profit:** $____
- **Comparison to last month:** Up/Down by $____
If you're not tracking this, you have a hobby, not a business. No judgment — but if you want to grow, you need data.
Section 6: Month-End Review
At the end of the month, spend 15 minutes answering:
- **What worked?** (Which posts got engagement? Which products sold best? Which outreach got responses?)
- **What didn't work?** (What flopped? What took too much time for too little return?)
- **What will I do differently next month?**
- **Am I on track for my quarterly/annual goals?**
Print It, Pin It, Use It
