Every Scentsy Consultant sells the same products at the same prices. What makes a customer choose YOU? Your personal brand — what makes you memorable, relatable, and trustworthy.
Define What Makes You Unique
Why should someone buy from you specifically? Maybe you specialize in pet-owner recommendations. Maybe you create incredible custom blends. Maybe you show how Scentsy fits into busy family life. Find your angle and lean in.
Choose Your Platforms
Pick 1–2 platforms where your customers spend time. For most Consultants, that's Facebook (community) and Instagram (visuals). Don't spread thin across five platforms posting mediocre content on each.
Create a Cohesive Look
Consistent visual branding builds recognition. Choose 2–3 brand colors, use the same profile photo across platforms, and develop consistent photo styles. Free tools like Canva make templates easy.
Tell Your Story
People buy from people they connect with. Share your Scentsy journey authentically: why you started, what you've learned, favorite products, honest struggles. Vulnerability builds trust faster than any polished marketing.
Provide Value First
Position yourself as a helpful resource, not just a salesperson. Share home fragrance tips, seasonal scent pairing guides, warmer placement advice. When you consistently provide value, people come to you when ready to buy.
Engage Authentically
Respond to every comment and message. Like your customers' posts. Join conversations in groups. Social media is social — brands that engage genuinely build the strongest followings.
Be Patient
Building a brand takes time. A small, engaged audience of 200 who trust your recommendations is worth more than 10,000 who scroll past. Focus on depth over breadth.
