Scentsy Consultant Levels Explained

Understanding the Rank Structure
Scentsy's ranking system recognizes achievement in personal sales and team building. Understanding levels helps you set goals.
Consultant
Where everyone starts. Purchase your starter kit and you're a Consultant. Focus on learning products, making first sales, and building a customer base. There's a minimum Personal Retail Volume (PRV) to remain active each month.
Certified Consultant
After meeting a specific PRV threshold in your first months, you become Certified — confirming you've moved beyond the starter phase and unlocking additional earning opportunities.
Lead Consultant
The first leadership rank, achieved when you sponsor new Consultants. You start earning bonuses on team sales in addition to personal commissions. This is where many discover whether they enjoy mentoring.
Star Consultant
Requires growing both personal sales and team activity. You're running a genuine small business — managing customers while developing team members. The commission structure expands significantly.
SuperStar Consultant
A major milestone. Reaching this rank means solid productive team and strong personal sales. SuperStars are recognized within the company and featured at events.
Director and Above
Director, Star Director, and SuperStar Director are executive leadership ranks. Directors have built large multi-level teams and developed other leaders. These ranks bring significant recognition, bonuses, and exclusive event invitations.
How Ranks Are Determined
Ranks combine personal retail volume, team retail volume, and number of active frontline and downline Consultants. Your back-office dashboard tracks progress in real time.
Important to Remember
Rank advancement is a goal, not a guarantee. Focus on genuine customer relationships and team support, and advancement follows naturally. Chasing rank through inventory loading or pressuring recruits leads to burnout.
Individual results vary. Scentsy does not guarantee any level of income to its Consultants. Success requires effort, time, and dedication.
